Biology Professor Details His Work on COVID-19 Vaccine During Research Day
For the sixth year in a row, Research Day provided a showcase for some of the best and most exciting research The Catholic University of America has to offer. This year’s event, which took place virtually on April 15, featured 78 oral presentations and 100 poster presentations from students, faculty, and staff members. Projects covered a diverse variety of subjects, including economics, education, mental health, biomedical engineering, music, and the saints.

Provost's Remarks
The provost's talk, titled The Catholic University of America: A Research University, examined our historical commitment to research, reviewed highlights of current research, and presented a vision for the future.
Keynote with Dr. Venigalla Rao
Dr. Rao told the story of his pioneering work in developing a new type of coronavirus vaccine. His keynote address was titled: Design of a COVID-19 Vaccine by CRISPR Engineering of Bacteriophage T4.-
